A
properly printed card starts with
a properly designed card. Unless
otherwise stated, the printing price
that you have been quoted assumes
that your artwork will be complete
and correctly prepared. We reserve
the right to charge for any changes
caused by non-conformity to our specifications.
In order to save time and expense,
please ensure that your artwork follows
the simple guidelines below. You
must use one of the softwares listed
and and follow the appropriate card
schematic.
Guidelines
for card design

Bleeds shoulds be at least 1/8".
Photoshop files should arrive in 'layered' format. |

Always leave
a minimum of 1/8" blank space
around the entire edge of the card. |

The position is flexible, but most
often centered on the card.
PIN size is 1.625" x .25" with 1/8" blank
space all around. |

The position
is flexible but most often in the lower left
or right hand corner of the card.
Control no. size is 1.75" x .25" with
1/8" blank
space all around. |

We accept files in MAC or PC format.

6.5 or earlier (mac), 6.0 or earlier(pc)

Transmitting
electronic files to Pentagon
| Regular e-mail does not allow the transmission
of large files and is not secure. Pentagon uses
an electronic file transmission service called FastStore which is
secure and easy to use. Ask your account manager
to register you. Of course, you can also send us your files on
a CD or Zip disk. |
